Launch of initiative to improve selection process and expand opportunities for IT talent in Bangladesh

■ Abstract

SAGBRAIN Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “SAGBRAIN”) has launched a new initiative using the AI ​​selection and recruitment matching platform “Remote Pool” to support the discovery and selection of highly skilled IT talent in Bangladesh.

The system was introduced in the selection process for the 15th batch of students in the B-JET Program (operated by Shinko Shuppansha KEIRINKAN Co.,Ltd), which began on October 5, 2025, and provided technical support for the applicant evaluation and analysis process.

Furthermore, going forward, we aim to expand the opportunities for selection and matching through “Remote Pool” to a wider range of IT talent, including B-JET applicants, thereby expanding the points of contact between Japanese companies and Bangladeshi talent.

■Background

While Japan is facing a serious shortage of IT talent, Bangladesh is developing a large number of talented technical personnel.
However, there are limited opportunities for appropriate matching, and the mismatch between skills and employment opportunities is an issue.

To address this issue, SAGBRAIN is working to:

• Provide objective and scalable selection support using AI
• Create a global talent ecosystem that connects training, selection, and employment

■ Technical cooperation for B-JET selection

B-JET (Bangladesh-Japan ICT Engineers’ Training Program) is a program aimed at developing Japanese language skills, IT skills, and business etiquette for talented ICT engineers in Bangladesh.

SAGBRAIN provided AI selection support using the “Remote Pool RMS (Recruiting Management System)” for the selection of the 15th batch of B-JET students, run by Kairinkan.

The AI ​​analyzed applicants’ resumes, test results, and interview information to quantitatively evaluate their skills, language ability, communication skills, etc.
Through this system, 24 students were selected from approximately 1,000 applicants.
This improved the transparency of evaluation criteria and reduced operational burden.

■ Future developments

Using its support for the B-JET selection process as an opportunity, SAGBRAIN plans to provide employment opportunities using “Remote Pool” to applicants other than those in the 15th B-JET class.

Through AI-based skill assessment and resume analysis, we will expand the system to enable Japanese companies to more accurately find the talent they are looking for, and build a sustainable system that connects educational institutions, companies, and talent.

SAGBRAIN has established a local subsidiary in Bangladesh, SagBrain Bangladesh Ltd., and is continuously providing recruitment, training, and employment support locally.
