As a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19, measures such as refraining from unnecessary outings have had an impact on business operations, such as requiring employees to work from home or reduce their work hours.
BPM, which allows reagents and consumables to be purchased without human intervention, is a tool that promotes teleworking, but its introduction requires time to consider changes to operations and systems.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our inability to create sufficient opportunities for meetings due to our shift to teleworking. In order to continue to consider the integration of BPM with our dealers’ business operations and systems via web conferences, etc., we have decided to extend the deadline for concluding the BPM Flagship Partner Agreement, which was scheduled to be concluded by March 31, 2020, for the time being.
We will make a decision while monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on economic activity, but for now we expect it to be around three months.
We would be happy to continue to consider introducing BPM with our retailers.
