We are applying the EDI and library management know-how we have cultivated in the bioscience field to the construction and architecture fields, and offer a number of solutions that can be implemented.
Furthermore, we are also working on utilizing BIM, such as importing IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) models and checking regulations, and we already have a track record of implementing and verifying various tools and environments.

We provide a data infrastructure that can be used seamlessly from design to construction and operation, supporting the promotion of digital transformation in projects.

High scalability and operational know-how

We have experience in implementing and verifying model registration and visualization using BIMserver and BIMvie.ws, as well as analysis and consistency checks of IFC files using ifcOpenShell, etc.

Creating a system for legal checks and attribute verification

It supports extraction, normalization, and version management of necessary entities and attribute items by comparing with IFC specifications (IFC4, IFC4.3, etc.) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and local government building inspection guidelines.

ArcChain’s Overall Concept

Using the above functionality as a foundation, we envision “ArcChain” that will unify the entire lifecycle, including design, construction, operation, and demolition.
Our goal is to comprehensively resolve issues facing the construction industry, such as productivity, environmental friendliness, and information sharing, and create a new industry standard.

Planning

In anticipation of the further evolution of ArcChain, we are planning the following features. In the future, we will verify the effectiveness at the field level through PoC (proof of concept) and move on to full-scale implementation.

CO₂emissions calculation function

  • Visualization of the environmental impact of manufacturing and transporting building materials and equipment
  • Supporting companies and local governments aiming for sustainable buildings and carbon neutrality

BIM data legal check and automatic cost estimation

  • Analyze 3D models in IFC format to determine attributes related to the Building Standards Act and Fire Service Act, such as use, number of floors, and height
  • Detecting defects in advance reduces rework and greatly simplifies costing and quotation creation

Planning

Although it is still in the planning stage, we plan to proceed with PoC by exploring collaborations with government agencies, industry associations, design offices, construction companies, manufacturers, distributors, etc. We would like to further refine the data extraction and automatic checking functions from IFC models and use this as a stepping stone to establish it as a standard platform for architectural digital transformation.

  1. Specific effects of reducing environmental impact through calculation of CO2 emissions
  2. Productivity improvement achieved by introducing legal check and automatic calculation functions
  3. Degree of supply chain optimization through EDI and ERP integration

Finalize the PoC plan and verify the initial implementation effect in a pilot project

Based on feedback from actual operation, we will work to expand functionality and stabilize the system.
